Man, am I stoked about this short movie I just wrapped. Short story is, this is a short film written and directed by Matt Conboy (Goodnight Brooklyn: The Story of Death by Audio). Goodnight Brooklyn is a documentary feature length about the demise of the beloved DIY concert venue and warehouse, Death By Audio. Matt was a resident and manager of the club, and we got to know each other back when I was drumming for A Place To Bury Strangers. Strangers lived at the warehouse and were part founders of the space as well. The doc got tons of love as you can see by the links below, and this short film is Matt's first foray into scripted work. Needless to say, I am so excited to be working with Matt on this. I always admired Matt and what he did with Death By Audio when it was opened so this is a special treat to work with him again in his new venture.
